Smart Send is a ‘self-service’ online Door-to-Door transport solution. Private individuals and businesses can obtain a freight quote & transit time in seconds and make a booking online in minutes. There is no need to register or have an account to use our services. Goods must be well packaged inside a sturdy parcel, box, crate or adequate packaging to provide protection and security during transport.
To get started, go to the "Quick Quote" section on our homepage to get a price. If you are a eBay member, choose the 'Online Auction Seller/Buyer' option in the Quick Quote section, then enter your eBay User ID in the field provided to receive the 10% discount for eBay members. If you would like to continue and complete a booking, click on the MAKE BOOKING button and fill in the required fields on the booking form. Next you will make payment online via our Encrypted & Secure Credit Card or Paypal options. Once the booking has been made, you will receive via email your ‘Tax Invoice/Freight Job Itinerary’ with customised bar-coded consignment-label/s (PDF format) attached to print and stick to the goods ready for pickup.
If you are completing the booking as the receiver you need to ensure the sender receives the consignment-label (via email) so they can print it and stick it to the goods ready for pickup. Otherwise the driver will refuse to pickup the goods. You also need to make the sender aware of the pickup date/time you nominate in your booking, as you will incur an additional $25 Futile Booking Fee if we attempt pickup and cannot collect the goods.
